A person with a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) impacts everyone who comes in contact with them, especially family.  Our monthly support group is open to family and friends of those struggling with misuse. Learn about coping skills, how to take care of yourself and available resouces in a confidential, caring environment.

PLAN TO ATTEND - Summit on the Opioid Epidemic in Illinois - Hero Helps Community Forum, May 11, 2018 Edward Hospital Athletic & Events Center in Romeoville, IL. Keynote speaker, Laura Porter, will discuss the effect of childhood trauma on substance use. Forum will examine work to be done to address the issue of opioid use and overdose as well as what has been accomplished. Event is free and open to the public. Stop by the LTM resource table. LTM has been invited to present at the League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn Community Meeting. The topic, "Dangerous Drugs in DuPage County" is one that is top of mind for many communities in the area. LTM speakers will discuss the impact of the epidemic, share personal stories from those affected and provide a resource table with information on awareness programs and family and grief support groups. 

The meeting is open to the public. Please join us to learn how drugs are impacting your community and what you can do to help.

UNITE to Face Addiction Rally

The UNITE to Face Addiction! Join Joe Walsh, Steven Tyler, Sheryl Crow and more on The Mall in Washington, DC as we come together to let our nation know that addiction is preventable and treatable, that far too many of those affected have been incarcerated, and that people can and do get well. Together we can help the 22 million Americans with addiction, stand up for the 23 million more in recovery, and urgently act to save the 350 lives lost every day.
